OUR STAFF

Our Staff,  here at The Cat Headshop farm, is primarily animal based.  We are a small extended family business, yet we have a diversity of staff that covers upper and lower managements.  In addition we also employ the upright people to attend to the labor and administrative duties...After all they do have their value in a human sort of way.

Here on the farm our  job boils down to one simple idea.  "LET ONLY THE FINEST CATNIP LEAVE THE FARM"

My name is Angel and I have been a Quality Control Inspector for over 18 years here on The Cathead Shop farm.  I was here at the beginning of the first crop and in time we have only gotten better  over the years.

I started working here young and straight out of a stay at the Humane Shelter.  I started as a low level entry sampler in the processing area.  Since then I have worked my way up through the ranks of management and I am now Head of Quality Control.  All new employees in my area are put through a rigorous training that is closely monitored and supervised by myself.

Some of the juniors think I might be a little bossy being the queen and all, but its all about doing our jobs with quality and care.

I am very well taken care of here on the farm as all our employees are.  I get paid holidays, free 100% paid medical, and vacation time whenever I feel like it.  I also have an excellent retirement benefits package which I hope soon to take advantage of here in my later years.  You know,.. sleep late, eat when I want, only pay attention when I feel like it...

Enough about me though.  Let me introduce you to our two newest employees.  They have excelled in their training programs and have now been promoted to quality control inspectors.  Although they have often got on my nerves with their silliness, I believe they are an excellent asset to our inspection area.

This is Sky.  Sky was very young and green when she arrived  here on the farm.  I took her under my wing because she showed great  attitude and a gentle spirit.  Like me , Sky arrived here homeless with no one to take care of her.

Sky works the day shift as she is up with the sun and in bed by sundown.  She is what we call here on the farm an A.M. sample inspector.  She can pick a great leaf over a mediocre one from five feet away and was blessed with a nose that knows when to harvest at the right moment. She is dedicated to her career  and I can assure you that she will do all she can to provide you with the utmost experience with our Cat Headshop Catnip.

Our third and newest addition to the inspection staff is Montana.

Although very talented in her job and her work ethic, Montana is know around here as the wild card.  Like the rest of us she arrived here homeless. She had been living along an old horse trail alone in the woods where some one had left her.  I guess she was waiting for them to come back.  Instead we showed up and rescued her.  Sky and I believe that is where the wild card side came from.   She is a hybrid breed and occasionally has an air to put on, but I  often have to  remind her who the queen is.

Montana works the night shift and usually works a double into the wee hours.  We allow her some additional rest periods and a little lizard and bug chasing time to help break up the monotony of the long inspection hours.  As long as you can put up with her unpredictability and occasional radical behavior, Montana is dedicated to everyone experiencing the best euphoria that the Cat Headshop has to offer.
